Accounting Manager
Reporting Locations: TNW Corporate Office in Dallas, Texas
The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing TNW’s accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial processes. This role manages the general ledger, financial reporting, and month-end close while maintaining adherence to GAAP and regulatory requirements and industry best practices. The Accounting Manager leads the accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow functions, working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure financial objectives are met. Strong communication skills are essential for this position, as the Accounting Manager will convey financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders. Additionally, the role requires leadership in developing and mentoring the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. This position collaborates with finance leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, identifying opportunities for process enhancements and automation. The Accounting Manager plays a critical role in driving efficiency, maintaining internal controls, and supporting the organization’s financial health.
Reports directly to the Director of Finance.
Reporting Location: Corporate Office located in Dallas, Texas

Position Summary
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA required)
• 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Hands-on experience with Sage Intacct (certification is a plus)
• Proficiency in data analytics tools (Excel, Power BI, SQL, Tableau, or similar)
Licenses and Certifications:
• Current driver’s license with clear driving record and no restrictions

Availability:
• This is a full-time position
• Requires commitment to irregular work hours in support of the success of a 24/7 operation
• Occasionally work may require extended hours
• Travel as required
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
• Assign projects and tasks to direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Supervise Junior Accountant, AP Coordinator, and AR Coordinator
• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
• Develop and document new processes as necessary
• Maintain adherence to GAAP and regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
• Manage the company’s general ledger, receivables, cash flow and collections
• Participate in month end close process and financial statement preparation
• Participate in the year-end close and audit
• Participate in budget preparation and forecasting
• Insure all taxes are filed properly and timely
• Meet financial account objectives to report timely and accurately
Position Requirements
• Normal working conditions for this position are in both an office and field setting
• Good hearing and vision required
• Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and twist to retrieve files, ledgers, and record books
• Must be able to regularly lift objects weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds with assistance
• The employee regularly works inside a well-lighted, climate-controlled office and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets
Working Conditions
Safety equipment and personal protective equipment must be worn when and where needed.
